Once you finish setting up your Eventgroove event page, you will want to link it to any and all of your sources online. This includes social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), your company website, your personal blog, and any other online platform you want to sell tickets on. Eventgroove gives you a range of options to link your event page online.
Buttons and Direct Links
The first and most important linking tools are the button and direct link features. To access these, log in to Eventgroove, select your event from “My Events,” and navigate in the left-hand toolbar to “Share Event.” This area gives you a direct link that you can use to announce your ticket sales on Facebook and other social media outlets. The direct link can also be attached to any image or hyper-linked into any text. Below the direct link is the option to create a button to insert into your blog or website. This button will direct ticket buyers to your event page and allow them to learn about your event and purchase tickets. For more details about links and buttons read the Choose a Button post.
Sales Widget
Promote your event by embedding a ticket sales widget on your own website. Your website visitors may select their desired tickets, choose a quantity, and proceed to checkout on Eventgroove. To add a ticket sales widget, simply copy the HTML code and paste the code into your website. Click this link to learn more about our Sales Widget.
Event Widget
With the Eventgroove event widget you will be able to sell tickets to all of your current events on your website or blog. This tool works great for all types of tours and sports teams! There are no limits to the number of events you can use with the event widget. The schedule will update automatically on your website to reflect all active and public events which currently have tickets available for sale. Learn more about the Event Widget.
Sales Affiliates
Generate custom links and buttons for each website referring attendees to your event. Affiliate websites add the links to their sites to direct visitors to your event page. Once you have added an affiliate, you will need to send them their unique tracking link or button code. These are similar to the buttons and links described above; however each affiliate will have a unique tracking code associated with it. Sales from attendees who purchase tickets after selecting the affiliate link or button are automatically attributed to the referring affiliate website.
